Kasuka Na Hisoka Na Tashika Na Mirai

I was listening this mostly after I started watching the anime and at least works as the ending for it. Now refering to what I think of this song, well at least is something different from Eternal Tours and goes for a more rocking sound which works for me, because they go to a deeper tone (or trying to sound like that) and was what initially draw me in, but then the song had more to offer with the chorus and catchy verses, in reference to the arrangement there isn’t much originality as this one also sounds similar to other song they had (Non-stop road here we are again). But the way they manage here the verses made it different and more serious which gave it more points. So at the end I did enjoy this song and will listen it again (also when watching the anime), but had a little flaw which was Aki’s voice, which didn’t worked at mostly all the song, but was compensated by the 3 other girls.

Weird the style for this B-side. It sounds so refresh at least and tries some new things, but I’m not fan of the style for them. I think it’s really weird and it’s not working at this time for me, it has potential to become something to listen more times, but now I’m not that excited with the song and would prefer the A-side xD. sphere – Eternal Tours

Eternal Tours

I took a long time to review this one that even another single came after this (and an album announced D:). So I decided to do it at last. But frankly this song doesn’t bring anything new that we haven’t heard before. I mean it tries a similar sound to A.T.M.O.S.P.H.E.R.E but more on the safe side. I mean the arrangement even sounds similar to the mentioned song, But as always there is something in it that makes me listen it several times (maybe I should listen to A.T.M.O.S.P.H.E.R.E). We have solos which bring color the song, and the usual catchy chorus, but besides this there isn’t much to bring out that makes it stand out. At least you can enjoy it ocassionally.

I wasn’t obviously going to listen the 4 versions, and mostly is because at my music player I didn’t establish in the name to which version it belongs, so all of them appear at Sincerely and I picked the first one I saw. So starting this one apparently is the Minako version, it starts with some space-like arrangement and Minako singing in a little ballad style. And as you guess it, if it’s a ballad of sphere it must be mostly plain and with piano. And this was the case, but as this one has solos, you can enjoy it more, but not that much. I think their weak side still are the ballads and should stick to high-energy songs or mid tempo style that are at least safe.  Is a little meh~ and won’t be hearing the 4 to hear something similar. The song starts with what I thought will be the whole song, but I was wrong and becomes a usual sphere song. The song seems something like the songs from Third Planet, which I don’t know if it’s good or not, but still the voices are good, except Aki in some parts where she disrupts the power from Haruka, Minako and Ayahi, but not that much, and I can fully enjoy it. The harmonies they make reminds me of Planet Freedom, but thanks to the arrangement, it separates from that song. It has a lot of guitars and that anison sound carried along, which makes the song  a normal sphere song, nothing spectacular like Genesis Aria. A good A-side. Continue reading

sphere – Genesis Aria

Genesis Aria

Ohhh that intro from the song is so great, it just informs you of how epic the song will be. It reminds me of MOON SIGNAL but more epic, it doesn’t matter if there aren’t solos as in previous songs, the epicness of the song compensates it all. I mean even Aki sounds great in the song, and that’s saying a lot. The arrangement is normal except in the chorus and before it, where all the power starts to rise, those strings were so good. I don’t know why they don’t release more songs like this. The last part with the “Genesis Aria” by each girl was unexpected for me but beneficial for the ending. Epic A-side. Continue reading
