ring your bell
I really thought that this was going to be a copy of believe but thankfully this turned out to be a more cheerful song similar to the After Eden era songs, and we can hear Hikaru with her happy tone, and then switching to Wakana. It tries to be similar to previous song, but once the chorus starts everything becomes even better because it brings certain elements that we’ve seen like in misterioso and other songs but done better and I really loved how they sang “ring your bell” line because it sounded so beautiful. So in conclusion, the song is making a mixture of their sounds but in a good way that blends and gives a sense of completeness or end to a series and just amazes me because of those last lines. Really good song.
Koibito no Mukashigatari no Yugure no (こいびとの昔語りの夕暮れの)
I don’t like when there’s only one B-side, but apparently they try to bring mystery into those ones. Having mostly the girls singing in harmony just sounds heavenly, but appears as if it’s an intro to something darker or misterious, similar to Utsukushisa. We can hear easily to Wakana which is the main vocal, but backed by Keiko as well. Electric guitar joins to make what I expected in the song to be, Wakana becomes stronger and Hikaru joins the scene as well. So I’m really surprised how the song turned out to be in general with the incremental style and becoming dark in a good way. Another good B-side.
ring your bell (in the silence)
If you don’t understand what this is, it’s Kalafina in harmony but with Kajiurago of ring your bell in a slower pace and starting in the chorus but mixing it a little to make it sound different and as well lovely. Even if it’s short I think this could work as an intro for an album or for “your ring bell” song.
Is it worth listening? Yes
This was a great listening as well from Kalafina. I’m really glad with this A-side because it sounded heavenly and brings a cheerful style and a sense of hope. And then you add the great B-side that stands out as well and is the dark song of the single again. And in the silence version sounds like a great intro for Kalafina. Great single.
